I hope the link works. It's to an insta post about a Dutch tv show that has adults getting fully naked in front of 11&12 year olds who can then ask them anything they want about their bodies.

This episode has only transgender adults.

The blonde at the start of the line talks about euphoria after a double mastectomy. The one in black boxers talks about not wanting to be naked because there's a vulva under the shorts so finds it more comfortable wearing boxers with a packer. The one with long dark hair mentions male to female sex reassignment (to be fair this person actually seems a bit awkward/not quite sure how much to say to the kids).

The kids shown say it was weird at first but quickly became normal.

I don't think anybody's body should be seen as wrong or freakish but there's 101 ways to convey that differently to prepubescent (as they appear to be) children. And I have no idea about laws around indecent exposure in The Netherlands - I can only imagine there aren't any.

How fucking weird. Never mind the naked transgender people, what an incredibly odd show to start with. What kind of person wants to put kids in such a weird environment. Poor kids.

There was definitely a thread on this programme before...a few years ago maybe. The episodes discussed didn't feature trans individuals I don't think. Unsurprisingly at least one adult who took part was later shown to have a questionable interest in children.

I had heard of a Belgian version of this a year or so ago too. I thought the concept had died a death. Seems not.

It makes me sick to think about how easy this is to do.

And what sort of woke-points-scoring parents put their kids forward to be filmed looking at naked adults?! And if they are fine with that, what else are they fine with?!

And this has to get approval from a LOT of adults! It's not like you have an idea for a TV show and the next day it's being filmed! Who the feck are these people?!

Understand many will disagree but I’m not necessarily bothered about the concept itself, providing loads of chaperones and adults all DBS checked etc. But the idea of it being a TV show is awful! Firstly, there’s a strong chance that there will be people who watch it who find it arousing (obviously there’s no control over who watches it). Also, the potential for teasing and the child feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed about it in the future. Shocked it got the go ahead!

I agree about people (probably primarily some members of one sex) getting off on it. They'll be getting off on any shock or discomfort or confusion on the children's faces. Why in earth would you put your child in that situation.

There's the argument that you can't curtail your life to avoid ever having one of those men getting off on your activity. I agree. But why put your child directly in their sights?!

Interesting too that the genitals on the clip are pixelated. I wonder if they are on the actual show - or whether it's because it's an insta post. I mean thinking about it, why would it need to be pixelated on a SM platform for 13+ when the in-show audience is 11-12!
