Nah, there are strong women and weak women and everything in between, there are as many different types as the number of women on the planet so I'll stick with Adult Human Female like a grown up.

I'm going to be a nasty pedant and point out that all of his poetic waxing about women isn't a definiton, but a description. Unless he's serious and he really thinks that the definiton of a woman is "a being who endures, takes a licking and keeps on kicking, is angry, who looks before they aim, whose body is their own, who knows pain and change are forgegone conclusions, are stronger than men, who is the best of us, moves history forward, has electromagnetic quantum power of Captain Marvel, who thrives, who has rights that can never be taken away, who has the choice to reflect the best and worst of the world." In which case there is probably just one or two 'women' in the whole world. And this seems incredibly clunky to include in legislation.

Just one more thing...Jordon may think the definiton of woman as 'adult human female' is boring and unsexy (and of course it doesn't include him), but the virtue of this definition is it doesn't prescribe how 'strong' or 'angry' or 'heroic' women are but captures the entire spectrum of womanhood. Shit people can still be women!

I am currently celebrating watching the film Suffragette. And thinking none of them had any confusion because no one with a penis ever had the issues that they had. Not one. Not one single one. And they'd have had no bloody truck with this. The bit where Mrs Pankhurst comments that 50 years of trying be nice and talk and reason did fuck all ( I believe she put it slightly more delicately) and they had to use deeds and not words made me realise how very little has really changed for women.

If you can identify into being a woman, you and your penis have a privilege and entitlement she never has and never will have. Or be able to identify out of. And in truth, that excludes you forever from being one, whatever you want to tell yourself.

Thanks for mansplaining what a woman is, in your opinion Jordan. Perhaps leave it to women to define ourselves in future.
