Actually says that transwomen are not women, they are transwomen.
A gay man in public office who gets some of the problem, and doesn't automatically see the fight for trans rights (setting aside the question of what rights they don't have ...?) as a direct parallel with his involvement in fight for gay rights in the 80s & 90s.
He doesn't get the entirety of it, and the fundamental corruption of the TRAs attempts to redefine what it is to be a woman (ie adult human female) without actually consulting actual women, but he's some of the way there.
A Labour MP with some intestinal fortitude. Now, he needs to stand with Rosie Duffield, publicly and vocally.
