I don't go on Tik tok often but I do have it because my niece and me videos so often. I confess to getting a bit addicted recently. Lol

It's brilliant isn't it? So many women going 'hell, no.' It's so refreshing when for so long women have been unable to speak up. I'm glad you noticed it too.

I hope this is a change on TikTok, but they also use an algorithm which gives you more of the types of videos you spend more time watching, so some of the apparent increase may not be real and some may be. (Twitter does that, too, by suggesting people you might follow because they seem to have your opinions. This can be tricky if it causes people to separate into thought bubbles with others who think the same way.)

Hard to tell without seeing some aggregate data. But I fervently hope things are changing. Especially love the young women getting more assertive on this topic.

One thing I've notice too, and sorry if this was mentioned on your thread Annaissleeping, is that a lot of the people who are speaking out on it (men wearing women like a costume and trying to erase words like women, breastfeeding and insisting on the use of 'cis' in particular that I've seen) even have pronouns in their bios!

Someone who called herself an ally even said that the way a lot of TW were going on was because of their male entitlement!
