Queer appropriation

Funny innit that for a certain section of TQs the tipping point from 'stunning and brave' to 'appropriation' is blokes like Harry Styles. Not rapists and creepy transbian fetishists.

The frothing on social media for these 'queer bating' cultural interlopers is hilarious to see. Why are some attempts at GNC/ NB / gender fuckery not valid?

I really don't care what the silly fuckers wear, in fact I think that choosing to present as a feminine looking man whilst refraining from stealing women's safe spaces, sports, prizes and grants is a positive thing. Shows that it can be done without being complete arses towards the women they claim to want to be.

I am all for there being many varied ways of being a man, without them having to claim that they are women. If the state of manhood was more inclusive there is less reason for men to pretend to be women. They can just be feminine men.

In the same way that women can present as masculine, do a job that would be considered mans work but still be considered a woman, men should be allowed the same freedom of expression and still be considered a man.

Unless of course most of them are just sexual predators or emotionally stunted manchildren. Which I am prepared to accept.

That’s such a lie about Chappelle. He didn’t “defend” DaBaby, he humourously pointed out that DaBaby shot a Black man, in public, and no one cares, but then he said an anti-gay slur and he got cancelled.

He’s not defending the slur, he’s making a point about the relative worth of Black lives and the selectiveness of outrage - that people are more concerned about words than actual violence.

It was a lazy, disingenuous characterisation definitely.

Chapelle seems to have survived his brush with Cancel Culture/ the EDI Vampire though, so fuck those guys (and well done to Netflix for refusing to throw him under the bus).

To bring this back on topic, at least with the comments from the Grammys CEO above we can be pretty sure that they won’t throw Harry Styles won’t be thrown to the Cancel-Culty Wolves.

Also, Harry beat Sam in the battle of the silver jumpsuits
