Mercy Muroki joins Kemi Badenoch's team

Mercy Muroki, who presented shows on the channel from May 2021 to October 2022, announced on her LinkedIn that she would be taking on the role of policy fellow for Kemi Badenoch.

She said: “Looking forward to my new role as a policy fellow to Kemi Badenoch MP, the Minister for Women and Equalities, in which I’ll be advising on the Government’s work on race, gender, and protected characteristics.

“As always, I’ll be continuing to advocate for scientific evidence and fairness to be at the heart of policy on race and gender.”

It's another Black woman and the track record shows that prick news and the boys get a certain frisson from being able to target women of colour.

Hmm, 'race, gender and protected characteristics'.

Is MM going to look at the 9 protected characteristics under the EQA 2010 and also gender? Or does she think gender = sex, or that the EQA 2010 specifies gender and not gender reassignment?

Whatever, I hope she does her homework before starting her new job.

I really, really liked Mercy Muroki on GB News. Actually, I thought she was the most impressive presenter. I wondered where she'd gone.

I just saw this on related threads after reading the recent Kemi Badenoch thread, I must have missed it at the time. MM spoke in support of Allison Bailey so she’s definitely clued up on this. No wonder Prick News were annoyed!
