Though I suppose it's worth sending it to this email address too: [email protected]

I mean, it's a win win for the SNP if the Tories try to prevent royal assent - it'll be used, rightfully, as Westminster interfering on devolved matters..and it'll just go thru once the evil bastards are out of power anyway (if the challenge even holds up).

WooWooSlayer · 28/12/2022 16:58

Or it makes the SNP look incompetent because Westminster are having to step in and sort out this terribly ill-considered legislation.

It's a gamble NS is clearly willing to take. Could backfire given the number of Scots opposed to the GRR. Only time will tell...

I’ll email him - not quite sure what to say though, can anyone suggest some key points to include?

If it forces the SNP to explain exactly what they’re doing to women and girls in Scotland and why the Tories are stepping in then great - the majority of voters aren’t aware of what’s going on, this might be the thing that helps to shine a light on the murky goings on.

ArabellaScott · 28/12/2022 17:15

Over 60% of Scots oppose the GRR Bill - including SNP voters. They will be pleased when Westminster step in.

This has been a monumental and foolhardy act of self sabotage by the SNP.
