Am really only posting as a point of information. Not sure what can be done to support women in the US suffering this.

Thanks for the link. I was searching using the wrong key words. I suppose as was think it was about WDI but they are using this as a starting point for discussion.

There was a good video clip taken by the lady with the dog who witnessed the attack, her reaction and having her eyes suddenly opened - I can't remember where I saw this though.... <wanders off to try to find it>

Small correction: that video was not taken by the lady with the dog; it was captured on a bodycam worn by one of the WDI USA women protesting the fact that the male convicted of triple murder of two lesbians and their son (plus arson for good measure) may now be incarcerated in a women's prison.

The judge is now hearing the convicted murderer's (Dana Rivers') insanity plea. AFAIK two expert witnesses have testified that Rivers was sane at the time of the murders and one has testified that Rivers was insane at the time.

An interesting tidbit entered into evidence at this stage of the trial (not during the main trial) was the fact that Rivers "had problems with" being asked not to share a room with any of Rivers' female motorcycle club companions including the victim Rivers later stabbed 28 times in the face (rendering her body "unrecognizable") during an overnight trip the club took together.

Twitter accounts BonitasMomToo and AirDhatu are two of the local women attending court in this case and tweeting later as citizen journalists.
