It's used the word 'dropped' meaning 'landed' rather than got rid of. Caused a right conundrum!

gender reassignment
religion or belief
sexual orientation

Race and disability are able to be opted into in some scenarios not others.

All the more important to get the EA (and any other legislation where sex matters) correctly and unambiguously defined.

As I wrote on the other thread, what they did is as if they had included 'sea horse' in the definition of 'a horse.' 'Trans woman' and 'trans man' are expressions where the meaning depends on BOTH the words in it. They cannot be subsumed under 'woman' and 'man', partly because they are then in direct opposition to the first definitions the dictionary gives for men and women.

It probably doesn't show up much in usage metrics because on various platforms it's liable to censorship.
