This makes me so angry. Why is it acceptable to use women as collateral damage to “rehabilitate” sex offenders. It feels like there has been a real return to the dark ages in the way women are viewed and treated in the last ten years or so.

Hang on, before we all get too upset. Remember, it's only some women this will happen to and the chances are it won't be you, or progressive politicians like Nadia Whittome, or any of the wonderfully enlightened women who make money from ensuring rape crisis centres and women's refuges are accessible to males. Remember the German sex workers will have chosen the work freely and probably just really love sex.

I think it tells you that many men do actually think they have a right to a woman's body for sex and identify far more with the rapist than the woman. As if consent is something that some men play at but don't fully understand.
