The UK police have recruited several men who 'identify' as women to work as officers or advisers in the last three or four years. Here's a thread on how that's working out so far

PC Watson allegedly targeted people on social media over a period of several months due to their belief that men aren't women, sending thousands of tweets containing defamatory lies. Leicestershire Police initially refused to stop him. He's now been arrested and suspended

Zoe Watts was employed as a Police Support Community Officer with Lincolnshire Police. Zoe is now in jail for hoarding banned weapons and explosive substances as part of his trans activism, which included smashing up melons with the names of feminists on them

Carol Lea was Merseyside Police's 'equality and diversity' adviser. In 2019 Carol was arrested for attacking a young woman with a hammer in a dispute over a parking space at KFC

Kimberley Stone has been a hate crime adviser to Essex Police. A trawl through Kimberley's social media posts finds numerous and recent cases of racism and misogyny, including suggesting that black people have low IQs

Kelly Maloney has given trans awareness talks to Kent Police and addressed Dorset officers at an event about countering violence. This was shortly after Maloney tried to strangle his then wife

Cheryl Morgan was used by Avon and Somerset Police to run 'equality training'. Cheryl has a history of denigrating women, including talking about a 'terf infestation'

Carole Steele has been used for training by Devon and Cornwall Police. Carole defended a man who violently attacked a woman by lying that the woman 'started the ruckus'

Stephanie Hirst has given training to Humberside Police. claims that wolf whistling makes you feel good because it confirms that you're a woman

North Wales Police Community Support Officer Connor Freel is a woman who 'identifies' as a man. Freel took an autistic boy to court for asking Freel if Freel was a 'boy or a girl' while on duty. The boy was given a curfew requirement and ordered to pay £590

Seeing it all laid out like that 😤

BacktoSlack · 28/11/2022 09:47

They just want to peeeee

vinoandbrie · 28/11/2022 09:55

It’s abhorrent. I hate that this is tolerated. What are the police thinking by allowing this.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 28/11/2022 10:02

Seriously dodgy people seek to have authority over others by joining/working for the police? I’m all astonishment

Rainbowshit · 28/11/2022 10:02

This is pretty shocking. For what is supposed to be a vulnerable minority there seems to be an over representation of violent behaviour that n those employed by the police.

Poor vetting or something else?

waterwitch · 28/11/2022 10:03

I wonder if our Home Secretary would care to take a look at this

waterwitch · 28/11/2022 10:04

And indeed, our Shadow Home Secretary!

They aren't thinking.

That's the problem.

Thanks for collating all those @ScreamingMeMe .there's so many.

I'm shocked.

Not!

Boiledbeetle · 28/11/2022 10:27

I swear they must see the words trans woman and go "oooh that will look good on the diversity stats"

Helleofabore · 28/11/2022 10:49

Unsurprised about that Fauxcop profile. Unsurprised at all…

Helleofabore · 28/11/2022 10:50

of them. Sorry pressed too soon

cakeycakes · 28/11/2022 10:50

All fairly standard behaviour for male police officers judging by what we've learned about the police over the past year.

Yes, exactly.

Thanks, OP.

WarriorN · 28/11/2022 10:53

Grim.

aweegc · 28/11/2022 11:03

Sadly I can see why they fit right in in some forces.

Waiting to be told that every group has a few bad apples in it and you can't use them to represent the whole, unless you're a bigot. I agree. So I'd like to know the total number of out trans people who have socially transitioned and are employed by the police and what proportion of them are represented in these cases.

And compare that to a) the rest of the population b) to the rest of the same sex population and c) the same trans population. Just out of curiosity.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 28/11/2022 11:21

Hopefully someone will take a close look at how many of these people went into schools / worked with youth groups / vulnerable children in care etc? Being able to cite the police as "employers" gives them a legitimacy that their behaviour, online presence & criminal convictions demonstrate that they don't deserve.

We know there's a problem with deficiencies in safeguarding with numerous organisations (think Mermaids & the paedophile revelations, Stonewall employing Aimee Challenor to work their trans advisory group while working with children / schools, Educate & Celebrate & Jordan Gray (with the piano playing penis).

It's long overdue that adults wanting to talk to children about sex, sexuality, sexual identity, their kinks etc were thoroughly scrutinised. Worryingly it's clear that the police are not suited to undertake that task.

ResisterRex · 28/11/2022 11:25

We still don't know the full list of who's actually on the Stonewall Trans Advisory Group.

www.stonewall.org.uk/trans-advisory-group

"MEMBERS OF THE GROUP WERE APPOINTED FOLLOWING AN EXTENSIVE APPLICATION AND RECRUITMENT PROCESS. PLEASE NOTE, SOME MEMBERS OF THE GROUP HAVE ELECTED TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS, SO HAVE NOT BEEN INCLUDED ON THIS LIST. "

pattihews · 28/11/2022 11:33

Thank you for this. The men who have a desire to get into women's space are the last men on earth who should be allowed access to women's space.

Which matters because Stonewall works extensively in schools and that group likes to weigh in on issues relating to children below the age of consent. Given AC & what's been revealed about Mermaids, it's completely unacceptable.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 28/11/2022 11:37

Apologies OP _ I'm derailing this onto education and it's about the police. I'll stop.

Same here. Let's have the statistics.

Datun · 28/11/2022 11:45

It's not a surprise to anyone familiar with the issues. Like many people, I see gender ideology as inherently sexist. And AGP as misogynistic.

The police force already attracts sexist and misogynistic men. It must be like a bloody magnet. All that power, both with the public, and in their own force.
