It's almost as if it's unworkable

"SNP Business manager, George Adam said the “Bill itself is not a large complex Bill”.

Neither large or complex but 100 amendments put forward for consideration. Holyrood must have a very empty timetable.

"Last week, in a bid to see off any future rebellions, Shona Robison, the social justice secretary, tabled an amendment which would give sheriffs the power to block “fraudulent” applications for a gender recognition certificate by potential sex offenders."

Surely if identifying potential sex offenders was that easy they should be able to block them from committing sexual offences.
I propose they try this, and if they are successful then many objections to the bill would be less relevant

And how would they know that the applications were fraudulent? They would have to be able to read their minds to know whether or not they had genuine lady feelz. I suppose they could ask Layla Moran to look into their souls and see whether their feelings are genuine or fraudulent.

Good idea. We need a gender-seer to look deeply into our souls and classify them and hand out appropriate stickers.

Indeed. In Sturgeon's world where I am what I say I am, you bigot, how can the sheriff ever prove what I say to be fraudulent? Utter madness!
