Thanks this is really interesting.

Signalbox · 11/11/2022 15:21

Thanks for the link.

Helleofabore · 11/11/2022 15:23

Thank you!!!! I wonder if the wren will chirrup?

FusilliFettler · 11/11/2022 15:26

It’s really interesting. I’ve a situation at work that is developing and this is giving me both confidence and food for thought.

Thank you for the post, I clicked because I'd never actually seen Ben move or heard his voice! But what he's saying is so interesting too, not just eye candy 😍. I'll have to watch all of it later.

BoreOfWhabylon · 11/11/2022 16:34

Thanks @FusilliFettler I also hadn't previously had the opportunity to observe/listen to Ben.
What a splendidly sensible and coherent chap he is. I haven't had time to view the full video yet but will do so asap.

Splendidly sensible indeed- his advice to companies not to panic over a Twitterstorm and actually think before they tweet... well, yeah...
And in response to a question about how companies can avoid getting into troubled waters, he suggesting adopting a policy of tolerance for various viewpoints- so sensible it's almost edgy...

GCITC · 11/11/2022 16:58

Oh my! Thank you for this. It's been a while since I've had a Ben fix.

ArabellaScott · 11/11/2022 17:40

Fantastic, thanks OP.

Boiledbeetle · 11/11/2022 18:01

I have a complaint...

I wish he'd do something about his camera angle. That bloody square of light on his ceiling drove me insane during the AB trial.

How am I supposed to swoon watch him properly when all I can see is his ceiling light.

ArabellaScott · 11/11/2022 18:04

'a renewed emphasis on tolerance'. Yes, please.

Batmammy · 11/11/2022 18:12

Thanks for this very useful link which I’ll be sharing with my NHS colleagues. I got a little lost in the middle section (will need to rewatch) but found his emphasis on tolerance and the practical advice extremely helpful.

Baaaaaa · 11/11/2022 19:49

He is wonderfully articulate, though I'm still not made up about the fact that not believing in lady brain or gender souls or people changing sex or the "most marginalised " sacred caste is considered a belief.

Rather it is gender atheism in the face of gender belief.

Absolutely! And thanks for the link, Fusilli.

Feministwoman · 11/11/2022 21:22

He's just such a grown up in a crowd of toddlers, isn't he. 💕😀

Sad though, that we now applaud someone just stating common sense

(Not to detract from Ben at all, btw, he IS wonderful)

TheBiologyStupid · 11/11/2022 23:22

Ben excellent and thoughtful as always. Employers take note - and be tolerant!

ConnieSaks · 12/11/2022 22:29

Thank you for posting the link - very interesting. Agree tolerance is key! Take note all employers and be very careful who you sign up with for unicorn points!

Interesting point BC highlighted that no policy could have covered MF’s employers despite some of the commentary post final judgement.
