I don't know where she stands on the transing children issue (?)- can only speculate from her message here-
But this certainly reminds everyone that children are being massively affected by social media, and they just need to be children, embodied, and are perfect as they are.

We need more artists using their reach to do this I think.

It's beautiful but she's very much pro trans - so she's presumably fine with children amputating body parts as long as they are trans? I don't know.

There are a lot of other issues and rapid onset disorders caused by social media that weren't raised in the video.

I've no doubt she's a beautiful and thoughtful and caring person.
I just think there's a blindness when it comes to this issue where normal sane people think it's acceptable to perform extreme amputations and sterilisation on children as long as it's under a pink and blue flag.

It makes sense if you accept the idea that these kids are getting necessary medical care, that there are people who really are in some sense born in a body that does not fit their brain and so it includes children.

That pseudo-scientific element has always been the key piece of the puzzle for most normal progressive types who accept the whole paradigm.

My interpretation of the young boy who had a razor in from of him, then a desk full of pills and then being in what looked like a hospital room, was of a boy considering transitioning, but then when the other boy came in, realised (or accepted) he was gay.... maybe ....

Yes. Very open to interpretation. I interpreted it in a different way again- I thought it was the same actor, and it was the boy embracing/accepting himself

I was a tad uncomfortable with the young overly made-up girls wearing latex outfits - very Aguilera but a bit OTT and inappropriate. And I thought it ironic that they showed a young girl putting fake inserts in her bra - think there's rather more young girls flattening and/or removing their breasts. Only plastic surgeons performing surgery on non-trans people are portrayed as the 'baddies'. But it's still powerful if you take heed of the message of the song and yes, social media does have blood on its hands. I suppose one of the main message is let children be children - which is a good one.
