I have a recollection that a couple of years ago there was an article written somewhere high-impact about the importance of collecting both sex and gender data in research. Maybe in one of the Nature sub-journals? Anyone know which one I'm talking about? I've lost the reference and need it ASAP.
Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks so much @TheClogLady . Sorry, I should have said. Biological sciences. These are very helpful. Still can't find the one I mean (which I suspect may have been approx. 2020), but these are a great start. Thank you again.

You are very welcome!

best of luck!

(as an aside, my quick Google has left me with the impression that anything published on this between 2016 and 2019 on this subject is quite rubbish and covid seems to have kicked the medical researchers back into sensible thought processes as anything 2020/21/22 is much less deferential to nebulous identities)
