I have just visited a new softplay this morning where the mixed sex toilets were open, viewable from half of the softplay area. Only a low privacy screen was placed at the entrance. Each cubicle was declared a changing room and were open top and bottom, only a few sinks to share outside, none in the cubicles.
2 baby changing tables in full view outside of the cubicles opposite the sinks. I do not want to expose my child's private area in front of unknown men.
The disabled toilet was locked and once a key given, no baby changing facilities available. Do disabled people not need to change their children's nappies?
Just imagine a woman on her period needing to clean herself or a child opening a toilet door in a state of undress and fully viewable from the general play area or to men washing their hands or lingering.
How is this legal?
