I wonder whether on International Women's Day, councils will paint all the zebra crossings in white, purple, and green - the suffragette colours?

Would be fantastic, but unfortunately I doubt they will!

I'm going to ask our council. Then I will ask why not. Then, when they quote cost I will ask them why they spent so much money and caused so much chaos when they put the trans one in!

I am so vehemently against ANY multicoloured crossings, played fucking havoc outside our local hospital, nobody could cross safetly - if you do ask, can you ask for the margins to be coloured, and leave a main central area as traditional zebra?

I was ridiculously happy, when I drove past a local pub that all their parasols were green, white and violet. Sure it was a coincidence but made me cheer.
