No one at all!

Apparently several sporting bodies are nervous about legal action being taken by trans athletes if they are excluded. Why aren’t they worried about legal action being taken by female athletes when they are injured by the participation of male athletes?

Because they want the legal situation clarified that males can be excluded from female sports ?

Jane Dougall was quite fair for a BBC journalist.

That was effectively a news report rather than an examination of the issues. For example, no discussion of what puberty means in terms of adult male bodies versus adult female bodies, and instead the differences were expressed in terms of testosterone. Still, it's more sunlight.

No-one from the government. Frankly I see this as a warning that they are saying the right thing but there is no action attached. I would have like to heard ND on the BBC giving an update on her meetings and the government stance. Instead we get soundbites via the media. When I see actions I will believe it.

Jane Dougall from BBC sports was on, it was a pretty poor update but at least EB is airing it.

It's quite clearly set out in law that males can be excluded from female sports.

Jane Dougal did say there could be a case where a eg a woman sued the RFU (rugby) if she was injured by a TW player.

I think the issue of, we can't have an open or trans category because there aren't enough trans athletes to make meaningful competition, is completely bogus. Jane compared it to para-sports that weren't that popular a while ago, but are well subscribed now.
I think the real objection is that only TW and actual men would enter an open category and the TW wouldn't get the validation of cheating competing against women.
