Name Changed for this, but I’ve got 2 tickets to see Ricky Gervais tomorrow night and my friend can’t go anymore. I popped this in here as he was discussed the other day!

I’m keen it doesn’t go to waste, does anyone want it for free? You would be sitting next to me, But I promise I don’t smell and I’m not a serial killer (see username).

Yes it’s an early one! 7pm start, I’ve asked about 20 people and they’re either not able to get into London from work, have kids, have covid or like the poster up thread have other plans!

I’d much rather go with someone than on my own, it’s the walking in and sitting there all alone.
I don’t mind eating alone as much, but a comedy gig alone is a step too far.

OP, I often go to comedy gigs - and plays, concerts and opera- on my own, as I’m widowed. Nobody has yet interrogated me as to why I’m not accompanied! It’s really not a big deal. Don’t be nervous of going if you can’t find someone to take the spare ticket.

I've done gigs on my own, if I didn't have drinks planned with a couple of friends, not close enough ones that I could blow them out, I'd join you. TBH I'm a little annoyed I can't!! If you have no takers you must go, it doesn't matter that you are in your own, no one's chatting to anyone else anyway!
