To be fair, both of these authors have written some excellent pieces before now. But good for them - we know, I think, how much tantrumming they must have endured.

I am amazed that the first article made it into the Graun. Is the tide really starting to turn?

Articles like really help to shine a light on how much of a Western luxury belief trans ideology is. Women in Afghanistan can't just identify out of being women and go back to school. East African girls can't identify out of undergoing FGM. Women in war zones around the world can't identify out of being the victims of rape by invading soldiers. Saudi women can't identify into driving themselves around. American women can't identify out of the risk of conception and unwanted pregnancy.

These are real womens issues. Messing about centring men in womens issues neglects the real and pressing issues facing women in this country and internationally.

Both are sheros, unfortunately Susanna's is under "comment is free" (I think freedom of speech nod - but I'm impressed it's got in and excellent article!

Sodah writes for (and edits?) the observer on Sunday, so not at all surprised she's written a cracker there.

It's good more are moving to the apps though as you wouldn't really know it's the observer...

Susanna Rustin is a very good leader writer from them and (so far) hasn't been bullied off the paper by the aggressive trans lobby.

Maybe the Guardian are creeping back to becoming an ethical news source?

Especially pleased to see this from a leader writer.

Maybe the Roe Vs Wade rollback has made the situation clearer for some people. No one. can identify out of their female biology to avoid an unwanted pregnancy.
