I normally use them for flowers for friends and relatives, and the little trees at Christmas, and like OP I spend a fair amount with them — sucks to be them then, as they’ve lost my business too.

I do hope some they/thems can step up with the same kind of cash for sending flowers as middle aged women do, or they might just go woke go broke… But funnily enough I don’t tend to see many gen Zs sending expensive letterbox flowers to their female relatives several times a year.

Looks promising, I've had a couple of poor bouquets from B&W recently but they always credit or replace very quickly. I'd prefer the gifts I send to be up to scratch first time but I guess the convenience of a couple of clicks on the app kept luring me back.

I suppose lesbians , bisexuals and gays are just too dull now. Being a member of the lgb community used to be about behaviours - you were marginalised because of who you loved and had sex with. Now it’s all about identities. You don’t even need to live or have sex with anyone to be oppressed. You are just oppressed by virtue of being an aromantic Demi girl pan gender fluid queer. And so the identity becomes terribly important because without it you’re not a member of the group. Whereas for me, it’s not terribly important that I identify as anything because if I choose to date other women I’ll get shit for it no matter how I personally identify.

DrudgeJedd: you're right, I didn't see that Ames recently identifies as pansexual. I had to get this info about them on Wikipedia. There certainly seems to be a reluctance to use terms like 'bisexual', 'lesbian', or 'gay'. It's just not hip anymore. I definitely see a trend to self identify out of the LGB.

I stopped using Bloom & Wild a year or so ago after a few disappointing bouquets sent as presents. To be fair they were fairly quick to refund/replace but you’ve kind of ruined the gesture by that point.

This kind of crap doesn’t surprise me, seems common with a company in trouble and desperately trying to be relevant. They should probably have a think about which demographic spends money with them on a regular basis, I’d be prepared to bet it’s adult human females between 35-70 who are not at all incentivised to spend money by this kind of crap.
