Trans children benefit from treatment at a younger age

I don’t post much here but I do read and I haven’t seen this mentioned or getting much press coverage! Seems very controversial.

From the article: Experts said children can now start hormone treatment from 14. They also said children aged 15 and 17 could undergo surgeries.
The group said withholding treatment is unethical and cruel.

They're a group of activists, I believe you can sign up for $35 and they're often quoted by useful idiots who have failed to do any due diligence. A bit like the Scottish government citing them and their promotion of eunuchs as a gender identity:

They’re a lobby group. They need to be removed from the decision making process.

I would be surprised if there are any long-term studies about this yet.

I did wonder about the ‘it’s cruel’ which isn’t a scientific finding. This would explain why they didn’t get much coverage in other papers. I might email the publication and highlight it’s a lobby group.

How is a political group, with an adult political agenda, qualified to recommend medical treatment for children again?

What exactly is their qualification and stake in this beyond personal agenda?

Why is anyone indulging adults in this kind of political attempt to use children to meet their own needs?

There's no such thing as a trans child.

There are gender nonconforming children, and there are children with dysphoria. You cannot know until these children are adults if any of them will turn out to be trans. The available evidence seems to indicate that few of them will be trans, but many more will be lesbian or gay.
