Another school that seems to think gender neutral means removing options as opposed to adding them.

I hated not being able to wear trousers at school. It was sexist crap. But I'm.also cursed with a body shape that makes wearing trousers difficult whereas a skirt was often easier to get to fit. School trousers trailing across the floor and getting frayed at the bottom wouod have probably not been allowed anyway.

I'm.sure I'm not alone in discovering that when buying school trousers for your dd the only kind that ever seem to fit are the stretchy skinny kind. Which also happen to be the one kind schools always ban.

Until manufacturers at least show their designers a female body , skirts should not be removed as an option.

I have recently moved from a school with a trousers only policy to one with a skirt or trousers policy. At the school with a skirt or trousers policy, exactly zero non non-binary girls wear trousers.

But then what do you do when you struggle to find trousers that fit?

Like my dd who was told off for ankles but the next size up trousers didn't fit?

Many school trousers don't appear to have been near a school girl in their lives. How do u fit 750 different body shapes, leg lengths, fat distributions into the same few pairs of trousers. ?

I'm.41 I struggle to find jeans that fit. I have to order 5 or 6 pairs and send back anything that doesn't fit.

Frequent issues include, legs too long, too tight around the thighs and simultaneously too loose around the waist, too tight around the arse , too much material/duck sides, zips thay aren't long enough so you cant get them on/off properly.

Its a real struggle. And jeans are easier than trousers. I have not found a pair of black trousers that fit me nicely in abkut 20 years. Thank god I can wear skinny jeans to work. Technically I'm.too old and fat fir skinny jeans but it solved the trailing along the floor issue and they are stretchy enough round the thighs. And least jeans have belt loops.

Dont help the girls not allowed to wear belts or jeans though does it

You say it relieves the porno pressure. But do you realise how shit a girl can feel in these ill fitting baggy yet tight in all the wrong places school trousers. They look.awful and you feel.awful in them. Plus if u are really unlucky u can't need your knees properly in them either.

Its not the magic solution you think it is.
