It makes their moods all over the place.

I mean us perimenopausal women take hrt for few other essential functions as well, but just as long as your moods are even mate.

Because I read Men Who Hate Women, it's a good book written by a Laura Bates.

It is a good book, however Laura ignores the huge elephant in the room when it comes to misogyny on social media.

My heart, my soul and my energy is with all menopausal women, self included, navigating a world where our health issues are relegated to "after the menz".

Mate, I've got enough on campaigning to preserve toilets for people with disabilities and female-only toilets, now that they're under an onslaught from the very lazy of thinking and TRAs.

You crack on with your own campaign for third spaces. I'll support it - but I'm not bloody doing it for you. I'm not your mum. Grow up and DO something yourself for once.

This isn't even my issue. My friend uses the female toilets and will continue to use them. I wont convince her otherwise because I know she isn't a threat to anyone.

You are the ones so distraught about Trans Women entering Male toilets so fix it. Why should I fix it for you.

I often wonder if unisex changing might be the answer. In my office we have unisex toilets in that each cubicle is completely enclosed with its own sink. In my swimming pool the changing facilities are large and unisex. I shop in one shop where the changing rooms are unisex. In the shop and the swimming pool there are staff around. I think there could be more staff in the swimming pool. Perhaps I am just used to it now but it does seem relaxed and natural.

I accept that it doesn't suit everyone. I remember once a woman coming up to me in swimming pool clearly distressed when she realised it was unisex. I tried to reassure her and she did stay but it does take getting used to.

@Belovedfool No your right, i'm bound to make mistakes. Doesn't mean i'm an idiot but i'm sure i'll be labeled one anyway

@slowpoke5001 - I don’t share your thoughts about TW at all, and I am also outraged when referred to as a “cis” woman (as is evident from my user name), but I DO admire your ability to keep engaging in a positive manner.

slowpoke5001 · 05/06/2022 11:01

What an absolute load of rubbish. There is a shortage all across Europe.

Yeah, the last post probably wasn't as positive sorry. Just enrages me when people don't find credible sources and blanket read through something assuming it's fact instantly

Maybe you don’t quite see the issue your words present.

Women distressed by the lack of privacy and safety a unisex cubicle presents (there is plenty written about the risks associated with unisex facilities) need to overcome their instinctive reaction. Or a reaction that may stem from past trauma.

Why?

Wow. And you think to lecture US about respect?

Male bodied people are entering women only spaces, and you tell us "fuck you, if you don't like it you fix it!"?

Your friend should keep her penis out of our toilets, and you should keep your nose out of our business. And if you're not going to stop calling us offensive terms, at least stop wittering on about how its respectful to address people as they've ask you to. You;re not doing that.

My understanding is that risks with unisex changing reduces a lot with staff around. I do think there should be more staff around and I do think changing cubicles need to be robust. I also think that single sex space should be offered - my office does but the majority is unisex. I know some people would never be comfortable in unisex.
