Oh the irony. I think anyone who equates the rather tame phrase “don’t be so silly” with “bullying” really does have a problem deciphering not just tone, but also context and perspective.
Someone disagreeing with you (pretty politely actually) on a message board on the internet is not “bullying”.
Hyperbolically claiming normal disagreement is “bullying”, is the kind of mendacious argument we have come to expect from transactivists, who are always very quick with the hyperbole, and quick to overreact and shout about “bullying” when anyone so much as simply disagrees with them. I might say I don’t much care for the sanctimonious “tone” of these hyperbolic accusations from some posters.
