No oestrogel/sandrena/lenzetto and limited patches

Hi all, just posting because I'm so frustrated with all thos silliness at the moment. When will this madness with all the Oestrogen shortages end?

My GP very helpfully gave me my first prescription for Oestrogel & Utrogestan to use sequentially back in March. Due to shortages, the Oestrogel was replaced with Sandrena and I only just got that first bottle of Oestrogel at the end of May.
Cue my follow up appointment and my GP happily agrees to 6 months of Sandrena and Utrogestan as I seem to be doing increasingly okay on that... But..... Yeah you guessed it::: No stock of virtually anything other than some patches that you stick on twice a week which I've reluctantly agreed to as I was rushed making a decision in the chemist queue. I'm kicking myself for failing to note what the patches were called, what strength they are and whether they are sequential or conti patches as I need sequential regime as I' m not postmenopausal yet and I REALLY DON'T WANT TO CHANGE TO ANOTHER PROGESTERONE. Sorry about the caps, I'm feeling somewhat deranged, angry and deflated by the whole thing. I've cut my current daily oestrogen down by half just so I won't run out and all this mucking about with my oestrogen levels is making me feel so shite. I'm not sleeping well at all and have started feeling really depressed again. I was feeling suicidal beforehand and i can feel it creeping back and I can't make decisions properly again.

Pharmacy also says I'm only allowed 3 months of any type of oestrogen as they are on the SSP (severe shortages protocol).
Tomorrow I'm meant to be going in and finding out which shitshow I've been given. Fully expecting to have to go back to the GP yet again.

Same here. The pharmacy want me to go in on Friday to see what supplies they have in. They said they definitely can't fill my prescription for Sandrena, nor do they have any other gel or spray, but may be able to give me some patches.

The last time they gave me patches they were Estraderm that fell off after a few hours, and which were nearly at the expiry date.

Oh and the GP has once again prescibed a dose that's far too low and not what my gynae consultant surgeon, the one who took my ovaries and uterus out, asked for under shared care - so I'll have to complain to the GP practice about that again.

On top of my GP fucking up my thyroid meds and more, it's just exhausting.

Oh god sounds horrendous!
I've got to request that my menopause specialist changes my prescription from femeston Conti to transdermal of some type.

I wonder what the hell I will end up with? ?

Ovestin cream is also out of stock everywhere too!

🤦‍♀️

Oh god really? That was on my prescription as well (Ovestin).
