Is this statement hateful?

"Trans women commit violent and sexual crime at the same rate as men".

Deadringer no activist likes to address the issues of people with existing paraphilias and their welcome under the umbrella and whether they have an increased potential to commit sex crime.

I believe a psychologist who suggested such a thing was ejected from their studies and suffered immense harm to their career.

I'd put the evidence this way: There is currently no evidence which suggests that trans women commit crimes at a rate lower than that which applies to the male population in general.

Note that 'rate' here means the percentage of the relevant population recorded as having committed a crime of some specific nature (violent, nonviolent etc.). Most male people do not commit crimes, and the same is true of most trans women.

It’s not a hateful statement. It’s either a true statement or a false one. I can’t see what’s hateful about it.
