Times Higher has a brief report on the University of Geneva's response to a deplatforming attempt:

First of many, I hope. This bullying needs to stop.

I was pleasantly surprised when I read this

Hats off to UoG. Living in Switzerland, I have been becoming increasingly concerned by gender ideology establishing itself in academia and politics, e.g. Self ID came into force last January.

FFS, the government asks us to vote on whether cows can keep their horns but, when it comes to Self ID, they sneak it in with no referendum while implementing same sex marriage.

It's the Denton's playbook in action, but given Switzerland's direct democracy, I still find that shocking.

Good for the university of Geneva. That's now two universities that have actually shown a grown-up attitude to the issues. About an infinite number have not, however. But perhaps change is in the air.
