I think this sums it up...

Are the just trying to get a rise
Helleofabore · 13/05/2022 09:44

Oh congrats Cake!!! I bet you never thought you’d be a ‘gender’!

Someone who feels fluffy and light and Obviously not attached to a ‘real’ body. And even has ‘layers’.

I mean, seriously people, get out of your navels and understand that having ‘layers’ is called a personality and feeling fluffy and light is a ‘mood’.

Sorry cake . Didn’t mean to ‘smash’ your moment. Maybe I am hangry?

DialSquare · 13/05/2022 09:48

Is this the natural outcome when gender ideology starts eating itself?

IcakethereforeIam · 13/05/2022 10:19

Actually, I feel a bit crumby. I worry now that people look at me and just see the icing. They don't realise I have layers.

And jam.

Flowers for cake.

Know that you are seen. I am sorry if my remarks were too cutting and made you feel deflated and heavy. Crumbly cakes are still very tasty cakes!!!

IcakethereforeIam · 13/05/2022 10:43

No, @Helleofabore I'm just feeling a bit battered. I know I've nothing to prove. That would be bread. And bread adjacent.

Someone who is Cakegender has a soggy bottom.

IcakethereforeIam · 13/05/2022 10:48

Don't mis-bakedgoods me! That's pie, right!

Look you lot, genders are nothing to be triffled with.

Helleofabore · 13/05/2022 11:04

😁😂

I am 'halva'ing' a bit of a 'fancy' to see what comes next. (or it could be I am 'hevva'ing???) It could be 'muffin' at all, but it could be a lot of 'pain'. It is not that 'simnel' but 'yule' be able to tell us if a Jaffa cake is a cake at all? What about banana bread? How do they identify?

IcakethereforeIam · 13/05/2022 11:38

Jaffa comes under the cake umbrella, we don't recognise VAT.

IMPORTANT don't use cake as an umbrella!

Well.... speaking of soggy bottoms....

Ohnohedident · 13/05/2022 11:47

Well if the hard core extreamist confectioniers get their way, we will all find ourselfs in custardy...

IcakethereforeIam · 13/05/2022 11:50

I feel a bit sorry for banana bread, it's trying to id out of what's baked in. But you can't deny confection reality.

Helleofabore · 13/05/2022 11:58

Banana Bread is toasted (soooo yummy) really so that must cause 'pain'. And BB likes to loaf around too. Banana Bread's identity really is a hot mess, I hope cake gets 'butter' so it feels well and happy within cakeself.

I am trying to make sure I use the correct pronouns.

Chipperfish · 13/05/2022 14:25

Now this is confusing me and I think also shows a certain form of class and cultural imperialism, very USAcentric. Cake gender is light, with layers and flavours?

What about Christmas cake and Dundee cake and all the other more dry, loaf cakes? Where is the crossover to puddings and Clootie Dumpling? I think we need to expand the consideration to Fruitcakegender and spongecakegender, fairycakegender, madeleinegender, ecclescakegender .... Obviously the flag for Battenburghgender is fairly obvious but all the others will need a symbols

Personally I am lardycakegender

IcakethereforeIam · 13/05/2022 15:00

We should set up an agency to be our advocakes. Sconewall has a nice ring to it. Maybe endow a research post, so much to learn. Gingerbread - cake or biscuit. Pancake day of visibility.
