Crime figures re gender/sex

If crime stats are currently using chosen gender/ self I.D. to record men's/women's crimes as opposed to their biological sex, how are they recording non-binary people's crimes? Does anyone know please?

Presumably as whatever gender/sex the non-binary person identified either at the time of the crime, or at the time of completing the form.

It's going to make a mockery of the stats in time.

As far as I know they aren’t. Because hey: trans women are women, aren’t they?!

I’ll never find the reference now but I read recently that there was a 20% increase year on year in women’s offending for a serious crime (possibly murder). What was the reason for this huge leap? A trans woman had committed the offence in question (there must have been 5 instances the previous year and 6 instances that year). But hey, she’s a woman offender isn’t she so we get to claim her as one of ours for the crime stats!

This is very interesting (but note that for the MOJ study any trans woman with a GRC is not included because, say it with me, war is peace, freedom is slavery and trans women are women!!

What a farce! It is written in law that all must complete the census accurately but yet the authorities can then make any old shit up.

It is absolutely batshit at the moment. Insanity.
And yet, it's actually happening. People in charge are actually deciding this is a good idea.
If you try to google crimes by TW it's quite difficult to find, because they're all recorded as women, but if you go on Twitter, and local people are linking, the violence happening is exponential atm.

Entire article says woman throughout, no mention even of trans, and the photo is very clearly a man. Literally daily now. It's beyond absurd.

We need to do away with 'TWAW'. They're not. If you start with that premise, you can't go anywhere. Crimes can't be recorded correctly, sports can't be fair. TWATW.

This is the latest I think from the Ministry of Justice. However, since their capture by the 'all the male born sex offenders are women if they say they are' groups, I suspect that current statistics will be a dangerous fantasy.
