As someone who has autism and suffered from what would now be defined as gender dysphoria (thankfully had some great watchful waiting therapy) I've been watching this happen horror. On a good day when I'm feeling charitable (very charitable) I feel sorry for the staff at places like the Tavistock being bullied into an affirmation model. On a bad day all I can see is the sterilisation of a generation of autistic kids and think ugenics is alive and well in the UK
