because if your ten year old has been provided with the information required about a fulfilling, adult sexual relationship, you would be arrested, wouldn’t you?

This article says it like it is. And it spells it out:
'... boys who go on puberty blockers with the eventual goal of castration and surgery.'

Well done them. Call it by what it is, castration, none of this 'gender affirming surgery' fudge.

My only small gripe, is that after carefully referring to the surgeon (Bowers) by name not pronoun, and saying that Bowers is a late-transitioning male, it uses the pronoun 'she' later on in the article for Bowers. Grrr.

Bowers highlights how experimental this is for children. It's like one big medical trial but without any ethical framework. "Oh look, not only are these children made sterile but they'll never experience sexual pleasure / orgasms. Ooops. Did we mean to do that?" Tinkly laugh....

Enraging and despairing in equal measures.

How has Bowers delivered two thousand babies as well as going in to be a pioneer in gender affirming surgery?
Was Bowers an obstetrician previously?

FFS Bowers is one of the leading trans affirming surgeons and still says this:

"...a teen who doesn't want to be the biological sex that they are is able to stop their natural puberty with puberty blockers, a drug called Lupron, and then use hormones to force their body to go through the puberty of the opposite sex,"

But that's NOT what happens!
A female child loaded with testosterone doesn't go through the puberty of the opposite sex, they just don't in the slightest. Likewise a boy on puberty blockers pumped full of Estrogen is not going to go through anything even vaguely similar to a female puberty.

It's so unbelievably infuriating that people who are at the very forefront of evolving medical practices being done to children are so irresponsible with the truth.

The experts in this field can't be trusted! No child should have any contact with any of them!

But if they declare they are asexual at 10 years old (as almost children are of that age) then everyone can go along with it and say it doesn't matter the harm as they don't want an orgasm anyway. Is this why the big push now for the asexual gender identity. Another smokescreen to hide behind.

Exactly, Female. If asexuality is a legitimate thing, then all these sterile young adults who never went through puberty, and have no sexual desire are simply a stunning and brave variation under the rainbow umbrella. There's nothing to see here, move along.

Disappointed to see that Bowers' concerns over these children are so limited. I thought that Bowers had had something of a change of heart, from recent articles, but now I see that's not actually the case. Still happy to experiment on children, but now looking to test slightly different variables e.g. performing the experiments slightly later, allowing the child's correct-sex hormones to do a little work instead of blocking completly. No mention, that I noticed, of girls.

It is really unbelievable that in the UK it is illegal to give tattoos to anyone under the age of 18 even with parental consent. Yet children have been allowed to be experimented on with life altering medicine with such damaging consequences.

Adults can't even give informed consent. Given how many adults including drs seen surprised at the outcomes.

So if adults cant figure it out , forsee problems etc then children sure as hell can't.

Pretty sure Bowers is just cleaning up previous history. When I Google the name, the worse stuff is far down, pages and pages away from the new stuff that makes a person look good, even when they started the bloody experimenting.
Also think Bowers has not missed that the most famous patient they had is not doing so well and that doesn't reflect well.
I agree Bowers thinks that experimenting on children is a good idea, hopefully someone will put a stop to that as its unethical at best.
Although USA so I dont know much about ethics and standards for children.
