I've become a little cynical unfortunately. I see women doing great things, then they spoil it all by going twaw or something similar. I hope this lot won't do that.Hmm

This plaque isn't part of that movement but does celebrate a local woman's achievements. It's placed itself a bit too much to the left here, hope you can read it well enough.

I can be fairly confident in stating that Catherine Mawer, the one I posted, was definitely a woman as she lived in the 19th century. Unless, of course, she been posthumously transitioned.
