Terrible news, how desperately sad I hope they Rest In Peace.

I wish those who loved them find peace. I am crying reading about this.

Absolutely awful. Condolences to everyone who know them. How do we tackle this endemic male violence against women? It’s getting worse.

Rest in Peace. No family should go through this.

I read about this the other day. Its just horrific. Those poor women (and the man too). What the hell happened in that house?

Absolutely horrific, my heart goes out to their families, such a waste of life. Why can’t men just bloody stop murdering people?

This is so awful, three generations of a family just wiped out. Horrific. And the man was known to them.

This is so terrible.

I was first told about this by a child who lives nearby and heard all the sirens. They already felt unsafe on their estate. They were asking me to make sense of it for them and I couldn't.

Those poor people who were killed, may they rest in peace,
And may their family and friends and all those left with the shock of what happened be granted strength,
We can only imagine what they went through in their last minutes of life,
What on earth possessed the man who killed them,

The prevalence of violence against women and girls (VAWG) and the chilling effect of fear of violence are acknowledged by global organisations. They are major public health problems and a violation of women's and children's human rights.

Male violence is a multifactorial problem that hurts society as a whole in every country and it needs local and global initiatives to tackle it.

None of that can assuage the hearts and minds of this family who've had this multigenerational ambush to their hearts and sense of identity.

This is just horrific. A shocking display of violence. RIP that poor family.

This is so awful, I can't bear to think about what they went through and how someone could do such a thing.

My thoughts are with their family and friends.

I find this so disturbing, he has only just met them apparently? But was best friends of Samantha? According to the reports I read, how can you do this he had only just met her family, I just feel so sad and awful How they must have felt knowing he was going to kill them all and how someone was capable of doing this

This story is getting more confusing (judging by today's reports).

My heart is with the family members who are going through this.
