A medical doctor discusses whether transwomen have an unfair biological advantage over women in sports.

I haven't watched all of the Australian discussion - it's nearly an hour long - but it's great to see such a discussion taking place 'out in the open' in what - from what I've seen so far - a calm and respectful manner. I'd love to see one of our tv channels conduct such a debate.

I'll go back to the Australian discussion later when I've got more time. Hopefully, it doesn't descend into a bunfight later in the programme.🙂

It doesn't descend into a bunfight WearyLady. It does allow males to put out there their emotionally manipulative stories to try to persuade watchers that they should be included. But apart from that, and the entertaining facial expressions, it remains balanced.

The red head male is called Caroline Layt and they played state level rugby and did not tell anyone they were male for quite a while. Then told the coach who was fine with it, and then much later told others. That male then won 'sports woman of the year for NSW' that year.

The last paragraph just demonstrates how women are brainwashed into being kind.

To be fair, I am not sure it was known by those voting for Sport woman of the year that this person was a transitioned male. I believe it would have made a real difference to the result.

But they certainly come across as a very smug individual... I question why people support this person now as they come across as a grade A misogynist.

Most welcome. I think it's a good summary of the key biology without being overlong or too detailed.

It's also helpful when arguing with someone who believes nonsense to have a trans person with appropriate qualifications deliver the argument- makes it hard to respond with 'Science is bigoted'.
