Inspired by the Ladies who Lunch and one particularly intense over reaction #MadAngryCry is trending on Twitter.

I feel I should have a #MadAngryCry about the fact that I had a rock hard gluten free hot cross bun for my lunch and no one even gave me a glass of wine with it.

@Pudmyboy

Well that's a shame, I quite liked Rosie. But it's good to know where she stands.
Same

It's a shame, didn't really rate her as a comedian but at least I know where she stands now.

DanceToTheMusicOf · 12/04/2022 19:35

I am curious though, she is loudly and publicly a lesbian. How does she square that with a lady penis?

I don’t really know, I remember her being outraged about the BBC article about TW pressuring women into sex. Outraged on behalf of the TW.

TheWeeDonkey · 12/04/2022 20:34

To be fair to Rosie Jones, I also get hangry and petty when I have a late lunch so I can kind of see how she could interprete a group of intelligent, witty and interesting women having a long boozy lunch together as hateful 🥺

Whatsnewpussyhat · 12/04/2022 21:11

I hate the whole 'community' nonsense from these people who can't see the men appropriating everyone else's oppression.

Adult males who want to perform femininity or call themselves women have nothing in common with teenage girls being convinced that their mental health issues mean they must be men.

TheABC · 12/04/2022 21:31

@Whatsnewpussyhat

I don't even think it's just about it being those particular women. Some males simply can't bear the thought of women gathering together at all.

They can never have that dynamic. Not ever.

Well, yes.

Look at all the abuse Mumsnet has hardcover the years. Those uppity females having opinions and even talking to each other! They'll be helping each other to campaign for equal rights next.

I'll just go back to stirring the cauldron...

FemaleAndLearning · 12/04/2022 21:43

Some great comments.

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 13/04/2022 04:23

@stimpyyouidiot

She def has form
A great amount of it.

You may remember a BBC article about same-sex attracted women (aka lesbians) being pressured into sex by some transwomen (aka male transitioners)

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-57853385

This is how Rosie Jones reacted to that.

Thrilled to see that lesbians were trending, until I read why. I am not sharing the transphobic article, but I AM going to say that that piece of trash is not the consensus of all gay women. Next time when 'lesbians' are trending, can it just be loads of fit pictures of me?

So I take it she didn't cry for the lesbian whose rape was described in that BBC article.

However, some lesbians take photos of each other with JK Rowling at a restaurant and it's:

Just had a mad, angry cry about the photos of JK Rowling at the Terf gathering. It's disgusting how members of our community can be so hateful. How are we ever meant to break through barriers, and stop discrimination if we're too busy attacking each other? Stop. Hate.

Priorities, much?

Brilliantly put @PurgatoryOfPotholes

Liveliferun · 13/04/2022 10:12

Good to know where she stands on this. I've never rated her as funny or entertaining, and assumed she was on panel shows for diversity purposes. Now that I've perused her twitter feed a bit she does have some pretty nasty things to say, she's just called Glinner an irrelevant twat. Ironic, when he has never been more relevant than right now. (And he has written some actually proper funny stuff).

Peaness · 13/04/2022 13:26

@Vebrithien

It's a pity, as I liked her as a comedian.

Most of my lesbian friends have drunk the kool aid. And they all have girlfriends of the cunty type. I do wonder if any of them would "go there" if they were single.

If Linehan rally was an "irrelevant twat" (charming) then why mention him? Also, it might be an idea to appraise who you are slagging off beforehand. By the time Linehan reached the same age as Jones he had written "Father Ted". Jones? Third rate and failing "comedian" who only gets air time on woke central, otherwise known as The Last Leg, as the pet diversity box tick.

This is my favourite.

Great post @PurgatoryOfPotholes Star

Anybody having a mad angry cry about women having lunch together and not about Boris and co breaking lockdown rules also has skewed priorities and is probably a misogynist.
