£1k fine and community service - talk about getting off Scott-free. Look at the state of her face - she was 17 when this happened.

Yet again it will be the case that, though this assault has hit some news outlets, there will be many other cases out there that don’t hit the “spot” for reporting on.

How on earth do parents try to find the balance between giving teenagers the freedom to fly, spread their wings and embrace the world vs instilling in them that they need to have their wits about them?

Yet again - male violence impacts another life.

I honestly don’t think margarita actually has any opinions on this, I think it’s just contrariness. Nobody could possibly think female on male violence is anywhere near the level that male violence to others is.

It's also far from the first time that MP has substantially misrepresented what was on the link (as a PP details above).

He purposefully followed her to the hotel, manipulated her into letting him in the room and then beat her to unconsciousness, seemingly continuing the attack once she'd been knocked out. She was left alone and could have died of her injuries.

So she has suffered a premeditated, savage and prolonged attack which has left her with life long injuries and trauma and is now told its "worth" £1k. That's all the legal system care about her suffering. It's a fuck you from society isn't it?

I know Molten - what did he need to have done to her to earn a prison sentence? The image of her in hospital was horrific. To think he's walking around near to where I live. I hope every woman within his local area knows his name and what he looks like so they can avoid him like the plague. A total animal. At least if he'd gone to prison he might have had a chance at getting some professional help/anger management - but more importantly it would have deprived him of his freedom, sent a strong message to other abusive men and prevented him from abusing some other young women. I'd really like to understand the thinking of whoever sentenced him.

Marg just likes to derail a thread into everyone talking about them/their posts , which I am aware I am contributing to but feel I need to raise.

A young woman punched a 58 year old man killing him. Her sentence was a 6 month curfew 7pm-6am.

The motive was apparently she was drunk and demanded he apologise for accidentally bumping into her friend, which he refused to do.

MP never posts anything that isn't woman hating trash. The choice of name makes the hairs on my neck stand up whenever I see it.

Scotland is truly broken as a country. Sentences like this don't occur in a vacuum, or just come from a rogue judge. The women hating legislature's agenda trickles down through the judiciary and police and permeates every area of public life.

What was he charged with? I'm no lawyer (particularly not where Scots law is concerned) but surely that is GBH

It wasn't quite like that.

They were staying together at the hotel so it isn't that he followed her, they both returned to their hotel room.

She called it quits, he responded with typically manipulative behaviour ie suicide threat and when she ignored him he assaulted her.

The Daily Mail tends to twist things to suit its narrative which does it no favours. This man's behaviour needs no exaggerating for shock value, it speaks for itself.
