Women's Declaration International podcast - second guest talks about the links between some of the trans movement and the links to sado- porn/paedophilia/misogyny/ Possible ulterior motives in activism. Well researched but difficult listening. Makes me realise the ABSOLUTE necessity of boundary setting for women and children.

I've suspected this was the case for many years now.

It's incredibly upsetting that the TRA movement has attached itself to LGB rights. We had made so much progress. Now, with the rise of the Right, we'll go down with them.

I've seen lots of twitter messages of tras talking of children having 'agency', ie. they can make their own decisions to be trans. I believe they don't think it through any further than that. Most of them. I don't believe I'll watch the podcast.

I dare not listen to it. I believe you. If you read the Transwidow Escape Committee threads every single husband mentioned on there was/is an autogynephiliac.

What is sad is that I am actually surprised that Mumsnet has allowed you to make this post. They have previously been acting a bit too much like handmaidens and have I have felt they have helped TRAs cancel women. I am afraid to get banned every time I post anything on a "women's rights" -thread.

This has always been the end goal. They want to get to a point where paedophilia is just another kink and there should be no shame, not illegal etc.

Why have furries etc at Pride marches and encourage children to stroke them? It's all about breaking down boundaries.

They have tried to piggy back onto the trans movement, the same as they did for gay rights.

Incidentally the man who coined the term "cis" was very pro paedophilia!

I also can't listen to it, it is abhorrent.

At what point was there a light side to this political movement?

The fact that the man who coined that term (I can’t even bear to type it) is apparently “pro-paedophilia” is enough in itself.

I just listen and was horrified but sadly not shocked by what the first woman discovered. It's all out there, hiding in plain sight - why are people not willing to see?

Like she said, it's almost history repeating itself, just like the PIE in the 70's - so after all we know about historical abuse scandals, why are safeguarding protocols being disregarded so easily once the words 'diversity and inclusion' are banded about? It's so infuriating.

And pretty horrifying to hear how much distain and vitriol is directed at women by these men, all while claiming to be us..not just us, but a 'better' version of us .
