The women who have spoken up are having their sponsors tweeted and targeted by TRAs/MRAs asking them if they support the athlete. Sponsorship is crucial to athletes to fund their participation. This is literally an attempt to make them choose between their careers or standing up for their peers in other disciplines.

I think we are getting closer by the day. TRAs are very close to overplaying they’re hand.

Women athletes and their allies need to say it loud and clear that they are taking this action to maintain equal sporting opportunities between the sexes and anyone threatening that is doing so because they are sexist

This is how canceling is done online. Attempts to strip people of their livelihood for wrong-speak. That it is supposedly the progressive left doing this is heart-breaking for me.

From what I can see the TRAs are just using the Twitter handle of the sponsors. I'm not going to give a list here because of the monitors but if you Google, you can find out who sponsors are pretty easily.

Who are the sponsors? I’m happy to contact them to urge them to rethink and that they will see their brand across the media shamed for capitulating to extremest bullies. The mainstream media is no longer staying silent. Am so fed up at the shameful totalitarian bullying

When will companies on twitter realise they can not respond. Or at least take time to hear a considered response from both sides. Everything is transphobic means nothing is transphobic.
