OJ: “ In my experience, the people who have had the most profound and passionate changes of mind in support of trans rights did so when a relative came out as trans. I wonder what conclusions so-called "gender critical" people draw from that.”

People will tell lies about what they really believe so they don’t lose their kids/siblings/parents?

What I wonder is what will happen in five or 10 years' time when teenagers start de-transitioning. I'm thinking in particular of all those girls who had double mastectomies at 18 or 19, started taking testosterone and have experienced permanent physical changes as a result (such as facial hair and loss of fertility). They will ask their parents: why didn't you stop me? You knew I was too young to be making this kind of decision, yet you encouraged me. What will those parents say then?
