This is so grim I’m struggling to articulate how I feel, and appalled that he was originally charged and convicted ofa lesser offence before the discovery of his internet searches.

I’ve added allegedly as so far he’s charged with murder but not (yet) convicted.

You’re right, I added TW as an afterthought and didnt make the connection the whole title needing amending. I was so upset by the story I wasn’t thinking it through properly I have reported

Yeah it’s a terrible story.

Men really are terrible.

Not all of them obviously, but a really high proportion.

The depravity of some men knows no bounds. Unless we can actually start having conversations about this without most people tripping over themselves to remark how it's not all men and my Nigel is fabulous (despite not knowing at all what these amazing men get up to when they are not around) nothing will change.

Tbh from what I have seen on the Internet, some men just want to defile and degrade, they abhor innocence and wholesomeness. I can only infer that they feel so wretched and pathetic that they want everyone to feel that way.

If you read about that act of heinous murder and depravity in a book it would seem too incredible to believe it.

He confesses (boasts?!) that he raped her but the papers: "he had sex with".

Whether the victim is a child, a dead woman or a living woman, always "he had sex with". RAPED!
