Sad fucking state of affairs in Scottish politics.

I often wonder what would have happened to Scotland, and Europe if John Smith had not died so very young.

Sometimes I daydream about the puppets of Brexit and what might have happened if they'd had a, for instance, light aircraft accident.

We could have been living in very different times.

Of course, I am glad that no one was harmed in, for instance, a light aircraft accident - I am just night-dreaming about sliding doors

Thanks for the article. Bumping.

Scotland, New Zealand, Canada, Australia.

I feel that there is some link between them with regard to the very similar sorts of political and cultural intolerance among the political elite. Something to do with a reaction against colonialism or rule from afar?

I'd also look at the very strong links back to Scotland which are part of New Zealand, Canadian and Australian history.
