Oh two people kicked out of a single cubicle, so sad.

Sniff.

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 31/01/2022 18:35

god, all of those people sound like utter, fucking nut jobs

I hope Emma holds strong. People like her are the key to the Green Party actually being a party of, yanno, environmentalism

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 31/01/2022 18:42

Was it two people or a single "they"? Hurcrum's murdering of grammar makes it unclear.

ArabellaScott · 31/01/2022 18:57

Just to let you all know that Owen has a book coming out. It's called 'Don't Ask Me About My Genitals' and they is very proud.

@TheGreatATuin

mobile.twitter.com/AniST/status/1487881771823865860 And this is from the other co-chair. Ani has some cheek saying that Emma doesn't speak for most Green Party women when Emma won her position as co-chair right out the gate and Ani only made it after third stage votes were counted. It also looks from the comments that she's going to be taking the same position as the last co-chair and try get Emma removed from the position she was outright voted into. I don't even know where to start with it. I am fed up with seeing activists get away with making utterly preposterous accusations. She's bringing the Green Party into disrepute. I hope Emma is taking legal counsel.
Noting that Emma won the vote for co-chair by a considerable margin. So she certainly does speak for the majority of women in the GP Women group.

Solidarity with Emma, that's so underhand. It's also against the party rules, I think, to be so hostile to another member.

MidCenturyClegs · 31/01/2022 19:06

Think someone tweeted along the lines but it almost seems as if they're going to asking for a recall on the vote / or chuck her out. It sounds very much like the Trump brigade who couldn't accept the election results.

Don't worry Emma - we have your back. We know you are by law able to express your gender critical beliefs. So we will be ready to support you if it comes to it.

This is where the pronouns get confusing. "They were in the cubicle" is that referring to two people or just one?

Two theys, I think. Do two theys make a them? It’s very confusing once you start mangling language.

I think we need a separate thread on this but it their third tweet says "my partner and their friend" so it's definitely two people.

I've just asked a former colleague who went to Bangor Uni about the club in question (when it was the Octagon) and he says that most people in there were on something stronger than booze. Another former colleague worked the bar there years ago and had to get bouncers to chuck out a couple who were shagging up against the bar.

So given the notoriety of the old club, no surprises that the management are trying hard to stop the new place getting the same reputation.

Have you read the rest of the thread. Words have not been minced. Shock

I have twice had the misfortune of being sat outside a pub or cafe a few tables from the aforementioned mayor. Voice carried a bit. Imagine the most tedious person you know.

Did you ask them about thems willy?

I bet you did didn't you?

DdraigGoch · 31/01/2022 22:54

No, chatting with my father was far more interesting than listening to his student politics.

Jux · 03/02/2022 02:11

In my day, you would be kicked out of a club for squeezing two/more people into one cubicle for sharing coke.

Not that they were, certainly not; no, they just wanted to pee.
