I read an article recently about a petition by women who have escaped from prostitution, requesting that convictions for soliciting be erased from their records. The petitioners said that, 20y after leaving prostitution, they are limited in the work they can get as the soliciting convictions show up on DBS checks, and will continue to do so for ~100y.
Does this ring any bells? I cannot find it. I'm pretty sure it was a fairly mainstream site.
