Asking work to review stonewall membership

I've been reading a lot of threads on here for months now and trying to educate myself and work out exactly where I sit in the current trans debate.

I'm keen to email my employer (a big company) to ask if they have considersany alternatives to renewing their stonewall membership due to it potentially polarising members of staff and some women (me) feeling increasingly uncomfortable with the rhetoric and thinking we need to allow a more open debate.

I in no way think I have the answers to the trans / GC questions and nor am I absolutely set that they shouldn't continue with stonewall but I would like them to recognise the issue and consider any alternatives.

... so any suggestion on how to word this email in a professional and senstive way?

What are they members of? Afaicr there are two schemes. You want to make sure you know exactly what you're talking about and why it's an issue.

You could ask them to review if the scheme has been cost effective, as you have seen that organisations are leaving the scheme because its expensive but hasn't created any real benefits.

I assume corporate membership as they display the stonewall logo on our website ect

Do you mean 'Diversity Champions'?

Sex Matters has some useful guidance on this:

If you Google ‘mumsnet Stonewall company’ there are a few threads that might be useful, such as
