Interesting blog post by James Esses

"When parents entrust their children to a school for a significant portion of their childhood years, they do so in the belief that their children are being taught in a balanced, non-partisan and unbiased way – preparing them for adulthood and helping them to develop healthy attitudes and behaviours in relation to themselves and others.

However, the truth is that gender identity ideology is being taught to children in both primary and secondary schools up and down the country and parents are none the wiser. "

I live in a very rural farming area. It's very conservative. Even so the local primary school chose an LGBTblahblah charity to fundraise for last term. The display boards were covered in gender nonsense.
I think we're beyond a tipping point.

This is why I chose a Catholic school. They don’t teach any of this stuff. Ok I don’t agree with some of their other teachings, but it’s the lesser of two evils compared with a school that’s teaching this trans nonsense.

Hmmm - teaching virgin birth and transubstantiation, or teaching changing sex and gendered souls? About as nonsensical as each other I’d say.

But literally no one comes out the other end of a Catholic education believing in transsubstantiation and virgin births. The same doesn't seem to be true of gender ideology sadly.

I've already earmarked my local church schools for LO as they have great ratings, and this looks like another
good reason to do so.
