I think you've missed the central point. We want when to be called women. We don't want any part of the male cohort to be called women.

As a side note, what do non binary people call themselves (if 'trans women are women' etc). So we have men and women. Does a non binary male still call themselves a man but non binary? Or do they not use a man/woman term at all?

I think they are simply "valid".

What pisses me off about this is we are told that the erasure of the word woman, breast feeding etc is all in service of equality and being kind and inclusive. It’s not done for any nefarious or sinister motives against women. It’s to make trans people feel safer etc. Ok so if that’s true can they not take the piss and blatantly thrust it in our faces that men get to still be called men, no problem? They can’t even afford us the dignity of pretending the real reason is inclusion , because there isn’t a single peep against prostate cancer U.K. ! I think making women aware there is a double standard , and women getting cross is half the fun.

And agree, the reason we can’t be called women is totally because trans women will get mad at not being included , but they don’t want to be called prostate owners so are fine with men being men.

Either they are such special, ethereal, but most importantly, the most interesting people in the world, and can never be defined by something as mundane as biology, or, they are like Eddie Izzard and choose whether to be male or female depending on the circumstances that will give them the most advantage.

Sounds great. Don't get jealous and angry about it. It's a step in the right direction.

Hopefully now more women's charities and health services will be able to adopt this stance too.

That is a good point to keep in mind - if this is accepted it could be pointed to as a sort of precedent. That being said, the reason it's accepted in this instance is because of the differences between male and female approaches to gender ideology. Transwomen are not really wanting to be lumped in visibly with men in a campaign like this.
