Where we can, we use ‘woman’ instead of ‘female’ – but we always consider whether we need to specify the person’s gender at all. Reducing women to mere reproduction by using ‘female’ (i.e. their sex) could also exclude those who can’t reproduce, as well as trans and gender non-conforming people

I guess they are on twitter...

This is such an important point @namitynamechange. I am sick of hearing of being told of all these things that I should be offended by.
My intelligence is continually being insulted. Like everyone else, I have more important things to worry about.
Ironically, I’ve never felt so ‘othered’ in my life as I do since this narrative started. Together with the added nonsense from Starling and the like.

I've just been reading their terms. They are charging people for depositing cash. At the moment 1k a year can be deposited fee free
That would put me off too. I'm concerned about moves towards a cashless society and I'm someone who never haves cash
Once we get covid under control I'm going to start using cash as much as possible. Cashless harms the most poor in our society and enables our every move to be traced

Has anyone else contacted Starling regarding this blog? I have and they haven't bothered to reply so I assume they no longer want my business.
Since I'm a woman who can't reproduce they probably don't know what to do with me Hmm

NotTerfNorCis · 21/12/2021 13:06

So if you can't/don't want to have kids, you're not female??

That's not what 'female' means.

Justkeeppedaling · 21/12/2021 13:07

I can't reproduce (60), but I am both woman and female.

"Reducing women to mere reproduction by using ‘female’ (i.e. their sex) could also exclude those who can’t reproduce, as well as trans and gender non-conforming people. "

'Those who can't reproduce' was probably thrown in to give it a bit more justification. This is all about genderism.
