www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-independent-s-double-standards-for-jk-rowling

This is only a short article and it's about double standards at the Independent re JK Rowling. However, the MAP's (minor attracted persons) mouthpiece Noah Berlatsky using terms such as cis (under the picture) and this quote parents are tyrants. 'parent' is an oppressive class, like rich people or white people' and that 'there are things you can do to try to minimise the abuse that's endemic to the parent/child relationship but it's always there'. Kids will love this wont they, my parents are oppressive etc etc. Anyway Berlatsky no longer writes for the Indie but the fact that he was there in the first place is a bit of a disgrace. Maybe their more relaxed stance on GC views is a smokescreen for their past dabble into 'super progressiveness'

These are blatant links to Queer Theory and CRT - Foucault rules in peodoland. Many of you will know this already but to me this short article is a direct hit on their use of political ideology

The plot thickens.

Queer theory and trans activism are getting so far removed from LGB rights now. It REALLY doesn't help to be associated with paedophilia and I think this kind of thing will encourage LGB people to step back and disassociate from the LGBTQ.

Lots of LGB people are parents these days and won't be on board with parents being considered an oppressive class.

They needed somewhere to go once churches and scout groups upped the game. In plain sight.

I am utterly shocked to see the head of Prostasia published in The Independent.

@ArabellaScott

I am utterly shocked to see the head of Prostasia published in The Independent.
Technically he’s communications director, No idea why he isn’t listed on this team chart prostasia.org/our-team/ Jeremy Malcolm heads it up, he formerly worked in EFF Electronic Freedom Foundation and still has a lot of influence in digital rights circles which is very worrying.

From my brief google, Woman, I think he has left. Can't have been there long. This post from 4 days ago:

'This Week's Writing 12/11/21

I mentioned this on twitter, but will also note here that I'm no longer with Prostasia. It isn't because of a falling out; they're just reorganizing (and have been planning to do so for some time.) I've got one more essay for them that hasn't published yet, but as of this month I'm no longer with the org. Obviously the work they do is very difficult, but I learned a lot, and think research-based, anticarceral child protection efforts are vital. '

I don't want to link to it, it's on his patreon.
