Thanks for the link Posting as I hadn't seen this article. It was quite promising to start with but then seemed to be giving Stonewall the benefit of the doubt rather a lot. I looked to see who the writer was once I finished and was unsurprised to see it was Gaby Hinsliff. She has form for not being very pro-women's rights.

The article says that Stonewall has withdrawn the demand to revoke the use of single sex spaces, and some time ago too. I don't think that's the case. I saw it a short time back on their website.

Nope, still on their website

Aye, but to be fair that's an archive copy of a submission to the government.

Mind you, I'd not heard anything about them changing their mind until now.

Ed Davey was forced to justify banning a female activist from running for parliament, reportedly over complaints about a T-shirt she had worn that read “woman: adult, human, female” (an ostensibly bland definition adopted by gender-critical campaigners)

Hahaha WTF

Go on then Gaby, what's your definition?

Abitofalark · 06/11/2021 21:43

I thought it was the standard or dictionary definition. And who'd have guessed how powerful is the censorious and all-knowing Ed Davey? I thought the LibDems did everything democratically by consulting and following the wishes of the wider membership. So they keep telling us anyway.
